Ravings of a Book Junkie

An avid reader, if books were sustenance I'd be fat as a hog. I mainly read dark urban fantasies, but like to mix things up book-wise, just never enough time to read all the books I want to read!

Breakfast at Tiffany's (Penguin Classics Bill Amberg)

Breakfast at Tiffany's - Truman Capote Published in 1940 Breakfast at Tiffany's was racy for its time, but reads rather dated now to this reader's eye. The thing I loved best about this book isn't the story, but was the author's foreword where he honestly shared that even as successful (and obviously talented) as he was he also often felt insecure about his skills as a writer. It was mind-boggling to read that from him and heart-warming as well.
