This is a great story of two wickedly mismatched characters whose physical chemistry practically leapt off the page for me. Their dialog is both funny and smart, too.
And though I was like the other reviewers and didn't like Sabine, but then she slowly grew on me with her snarky gumption. And especially after reading what all she'd went through from their parents deaths to her own repeated deaths. If that doesn't give you some leeway to be an "evil bitch" I don't know what else does. Plus, who doesn't sometimes want to chain up your own hulking muscle-ripped demon/wolf/vampire man and just play?
Yes, I really LOVED this book! *sigh*
